Home Office Consultation

Advice to improve your home to facilitate remote working

This is a consultation about how your property can be improved to make the most of opportunities to work from home while enhancing your lifestyle. The consultation can take place on site, or virtually where details such as drawings and photographs can be sent in advance. This may include general advice on;
 
• Design ideas
• The process, from defining a project brief through to design and on to completion
• Information on building costs
• Discussion on likely building materials 
• General Planning requirements and/or Exempted Development
• The documents used for planning, tenders and building contracts
• Architect’s Services applicable to your project

Due to the limited time involved and information available it won’t be possible to design your project or provide specific planning advice during this consultation, however we can follow up with a written proposal for Architectural Services for your project, broken down into stages, from start to completion if you would like us to do so.

Our design consultancy services are available between 10am and 4:00pm on weekdays, virtually, or on site within the Greater Dublin Metropolitan Area only. Consultations at other times and involving site visits outside of this area can be provided by special arrangement, please email us with your requirements. Please Note: These design consultancy services are available on the basis that there is no Registered Architect engaged on the project being discussed, as per the RIAI Code of Conduct.

Cost: €250 including VAT

2 Hour Home Office Consultation with a Registered Architect

Cost: €350 including VAT

Virtual 1 Home Office Consultation with a Registered Architect

Cost: €200 including VAT
